I greatly enjoyed being part of our car community over all these years, but for me it has come to an end.
You may have noticed that I haven’t been to any events for the past few months. Due to my imminent failure to achieve immortality caused by metastatic cancer, I won’t be attending any more shows or cruise-ins. Nightwind may make occasional appearances under the auspices of my son Doug and grandson Zach, so don’t be surprised to see someone else at the helm. Please introduce yourself to them and swap some lies.
Also, my weekly publication of “cruising updates”, as well as “Local Events” on www.NightwindVette.com are now discontinued.
I’ve had a great ride! Enjoy yours while you can…and blip the throttle a couple of times for me next time you fire it up.
